As Principal Analyst for Enterprise Mobility, Kathryn Weldon brings over twenty years of expertise in the telecommunications industry to Current Analysis. In her current capacity, Weldon is responsible for analyzing events, companies, products and technologies within the wireless and converged wireline/wireless enterprise services and solutions space.
Prior to Current Analysis, Weldon served as founder and Principal Analyst of Weldon Research. During this time, she provided her clients with research and analysis on the telecommunications industry. Her client list included General Dynamics, Predictive Systems, The Yankee Group, Current Analysis, Blue Javelin, and Pioneer Consulting.
Weldon has also served as the Director of Market Intelligence at Predictive Systems, a network consulting company. Weldon was responsible for the management of market research and analyst relations for the company. In addition, Weldon also served as a Program Manager in the Communications Services module for The Yankee Group. She was the primary analyst for the data communications services of U.S. incumbent service providers, focusing on Wide Area Network services, managed services and network consulting and integration.
As an industry expert, Weldon has been quoted in many of the nation’s leading trade publications including Telecommunications Magazine, Telephony, LAN Times, Internet News and Info World.
Weldon received her MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University and a BA from Tufts University.
