Raymond Keneipp
President & CEO, Current Analysis, Inc.
Raymond Keneipp brings to Current Analysis more than 25 years of experience as a senior executive, entrepreneur, marketer and analyst. As President and CEO he is responsible for managing, maintaining, directing and developing the strategies for all day-to-day operations of the company. He is responsible for translating Current Analysis’ long term vision into successful execution and achievement of objectives.
Keneipp re-joins Current Analysis after having served as Vice President of Networking Strategies for the Company in the late 90s. He comes to Current Analysis from Burton Group where he was the Vice President & Service Director for Burton's Network & Telecom Strategies service and responsible for managing the NTS services content and consulting teams as well as participating as a member of the Burton Groups executive staff.
Previously, Keneipp has served as Senior Director of Planning at WNP Communications, a wireless CLEC he helped form, which was later acquired by XO Communications. He has also held senior sales, marketing and technical positions for Netrix, Paradyne, Universal Power Systems and Codex corporations and was a principal at Net Reference Inc. In 1984, Keneipp started his own company, C.R Communications, which focused on selling specialized communications products to US Military and Intelligence Agencies. The company is still in business now operating under the name C.R. International.
Keneipp has been regularly featured in industry media and as a speaker at industry events for his expertise on networking. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an MS in Telecommunications from George Washington University.

Jeff Swartz
Board Member
Jeff Swartz joined Current Analysis as president, COO and a board member shortly after its incorporation in January 1997, and was CEO and president from January 2000 to December 2006. He brings more than 20 years of corporate, marketing and sales management experience in the market research, competitive intelligence, and consulting fields. Prior to joining Current Analysis, Swartz was a senior vice president with Giga Information Group in Cambridge, Mass., where he served on the management committee and was responsible for marketing, events and research publications. Before Giga, Swartz was employed by BIS Strategic Decisions, a former NYNEX subsidiary, acting as interim co-CEO in 1995 and filling a variety of executive management positions including senior vice president, Conferences and Publications Division (1994-1996) and senior vice president of Consulting (1992.)
Swartz's background includes the founding of a technology-oriented newsletter publishing company, Communications Publishing Group, Inc., which he managed from 1982 to 1986. Additionally, he conducted independent consulting in the advanced materials field from 1986 to 1989 and spent a year at an Arthur D. Little division, Decision Resources, Inc., where he was vice president of the Research Publishing Division

Lon Chow
General Partner, Apex Venture Partners
Lon Chow is a general partner with Apex Venture Partners in Chicago. Prior to joining Apex, Lon was a partner with Mercer Management Consulting (formerly Strategic Planning Associates), where he developed and implemented growth strategies for clients in computing, media, and telecommunications industries. He also held various operating management positions with Pacific Telesis. Lon received an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA from the University of California, Davis.
Lon serves or previously served as director of Advanced Equities, Austin Logistics, Bay Logics (acquired by WorkplaceIQ), Bellamax, CrowdBurst (acquired by Informative), ICON Solutions (acquired by AnswerThink), KnowledgeStorm, Inc., PlaceWare (acquired by Microsoft), Shoebuy.com (acquired by IAC/InterActiveCorp), Thinque Systems (acquired by MEI), and Xperex Corporation. He served as board observer of, and worked extensively with the management teams of TRADEX Technologies (acquired by Ariba) and WorldPrints (acquired by At Home).

Jeffrey A. Davison
Partner, Inflection Point Ventures Triad Investment Corporation; Inflection Point Ventures
A member of the Current Analysis board since March 1998, Jeff Davison has been investing in early-stage technology companies since 1984. In 1994, he cofounded Tritech Partners, L.P., an early-stage fund managed by Triad Investors Corporation, Baltimore, MD. Previously, he was a member of the senior investment team at Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) Boston, MA. Jeff earned a Masters degree in architecture and planning from MIT, and a Bachelor's degree from Hampshire College.
In his career with MTDC, Tritech, and Inflection Point, Jeff has specialized in investing and cultivating early stage companies, helping them to meet the challenge of building value in dynamic and rapidly growing markets. Representative investments include: Oracom, Lightel Systems (optical networking), Return Central. Investment of predecessor funds include Network Engines, Visual Networks, Intranets.com, Concord, Inc., and Tachyon, Inc.

Mike Hagan
Founder, ARS
Mike Hagan was the former President & CEO of ARS, Inc. of La Jolla, CA. and was acquired by Current Analysis in 2002. He co-founded the company in 1992. ARS was the leader in competitive market intelligence, tools, and analysis for Manufacturers, Resellers, and Large IT Buyers. ARS focused on the PC, electronic imaging, wireless, and consumer electronics industries in US, Europe and Asia. He played a key role consulting with the industry players on how to create competitive advantages through market intelligence, establishing new tracking metrics, and decision support tools.
Prior to starting ARS, he spent 12 years as a principal at Computer Intelligence (CI) also of La Jolla, CA. where He guided CI to the worldwide leader in primary market research for the computer and communication markets. CI was later sold to Harte Hankes.
After beginning his career with IBM in the 70’s, Mike became an entrepreneur in the high-tech market research arena by starting Market Data Associates in 1979. This company was acquired by D&B. He has consulted with many Fortune 500 high tech companies for over 35 years around the globe, has been a guest speaker at vendor and industry conferences, and has been quoted in business pubs including WSJ, and USATODAY.
He is currently a Board member of Current Analysis, and partner/Board member of Telematics Research Inc, (www.telematicsresearch.com), of Minneapolis, MN. He also serves as a Board Trustee for ODA, a local private school in Sarasota, FL.

Denis Seynhaeve
Principal, Delmag Ventures
Denis is principal of Delmag Ventures and an active early stage investor in the Mid-Atlantic region. Portfolio companies include Current Analysis, NexTone Communications, Neartek, Trivin, Incando and CollectiveX. Denis has an M.B.A from INSEAD, and a B.A in economics from Sciences-Po., Paris France.

Hugh Tietjen
Principal, Rutherford Group
Hugh Tietjen founded Computer Intelligence (now known as Harte-Hanks Market Intelligence) in 1969 to provide market research for the computer industry. Under his direction, the company became the dominant source of primary market information for nearly all of the major firms in the computer and communications industries with 500 employees worldwide. In addition to managing Computer Intelligence, he served as Senior Vice President for Ziff Communications after its acquisition of Computer Intelligence.
Hugh entered the computer industry with IBM and served in a variety of technical and marketing management positions. While on a military leave from IBM, he managed a program development group at the National Security Agency in Washington, D.C. He received his BS Degree in Market Research from the University of Southern California.
Hugh was appointed to the Current Analysis board in May 1997, by The Ocean Fund, the largest investor in Current Analysis. Ocean Fund is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He is Chairman of Wine Communications Group, the leading trade publisher in the North American wine industry and serves on the boards of Primetrica and Monticello Cellars.

Edgar J. Pfohl
Montauk Partners
Edgar Pfohl is President of Partnership Management Inc., which is the investment advisor to several investment vehicles that have acquired 34 interests in venture partnerships and shares in 43 orphan companies with a net asset value at purchase of over $39 million. In 1987 Pfohl became one of the first intermediaries in the secondary market for venture capital partnership interests. He established an exclusive database of over $800 million of partnership transfers that was published in The Venture Capital Journal and The Private Equity Analyst. Institutional investors have engaged Mr. Pfohl to evaluate 128 venture partnerships with net assets of over $377 million.
Prior to 1987 Pfohl was President of the Rockies Fund, a public venture capital fund investing in emerging growth companies in the Rocky Mountain Region. Mr. Pfohl is a graduate of Capital University and he has completed postgraduate MBA studies at CSU-Fresno and the University of Denver.
