President & CEO
Tim Dowd brings to Current Analysis more than 25 years of experience leading growth-oriented information and technology enabled services organizations. As President and CEO he is responsible for managing, maintaining, directing and developing the strategies for all day-to-day operations of the company. He is responsible for translating Current Analysis’ long term vision into successful execution and achievement of objectives.
Tim previously served as President and CEO of INPUT, where he oversaw a $30 million authority on government businesses providing comprehensive procurement and market information, consulting, sales management tools, and educational and networking events to federal, state, and local government businesses. Prior to his senior posts at INPUT, Dowd was the President of USIS (now Altegrity) Commercial Services Division (CSD). Working directly with the CEO, he directed all business operations, including M&A activities, for the $200 million business unit.
Tim began his career in 1986 with General Electric Company as one of only 35 new hires accepted annually into the GE Information Services Management Program (ISMP). During his 16-year tenure with GE, Dowd rapidly progressed through several leadership roles in GE's Global Exchange Services (GXS) group and later in GE Capital, serving as Executive Vice President and Officer of Calling Card Services and Executive Vice President and Officer of Sales and Marketing.
Tim holds a Bachelor in Assumption College and a Masters in Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Senior Vice President, Marketing and Product Development
Haidee brings more than 20 years of experience in business development, marketing and product development of Internet software, managed applications and syndicated content solutions. As Senior Vice President, Marketing and Product Development, she is responsible for the company’s market and product strategy as well as leads the overall management of new product initiatives, its flagship online intelligence service, CurrentCOMPETE, marketing communications and software development.
Prior to joining Current Analysis, Haidee was Senior Vice President and General Manager for BIA/Kelsey, a market research and advisory service firm in the media industry, where she managed the turnaround of an acquired Internet software and managed applications service firm. Before holding this position, she was Vice President of the company’s Media Information Group where she was responsible for sales, marketing, product development and research operations supporting its online business intelligence data services.
Before joining BIA/Kelsey, Haidee was Vice President, Marketing and Development at YellowBrix, Inc. (previously NewReal, Inc.), an Internet software and syndicated content provider where she led business development, marketing and product management. Haidee started her career in the information technology space as Vice President at NAB, where she transitioned the company’s existing broadcast exposition into the largest global media and IT event. Haidee holds a B.A. in political science and economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Jeremiah (Jerry) Caron
Senior Vice President, Analysis
Jerry brings more than 20 years of experience to Current Analysis as a market watcher and influential voice in the telecom and information technology industries. As Senior Vice President, Analysis, he is responsible for overall management and content direction for the company’s CurrentCompete services.
Jerry was previously Current Analysis Research Director, IT Infrastructure, and originally joined the company in 2002 to provide coverage of the European enterprise telephony market. Before joining Current Analysis, Jerry was Publisher of CMP Media's tele.com, a business magazine for telecom and Internet service provider executives. As Publisher, he managed overall operations, including editorial, circulation, research, sales and marketing, during a period when the magazine significantly increased marketshare.
Before joining tele.com, Jerry was Editor-in-Chief of CMP Media's LAN Times magazine, a bi-weekly publication focused on enterprise networking and client-server computing strategies. In that position, he was responsible for overall management of the magazine’s content, which included news, feature and product testing departments.
Jerry began his career at the analyst firm Faulkner Information Services, where he directed the analysis of the PC, networking and telecoms industries. He has been a featured speaker at major industry events, including Interop and Supercomm, as well as numerous, specialised events and seminars. Jerry graduated with a B.A. from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Amit serves as Managing Director, Asia Pacific for Current Analysis. Previously, he spent a number of years in leadership roles across IDC in Asia Pacific. In his most recent role he was the Regional Vice President and Head of Sales for IDC Asia Pacific. As part of this role, he was responsible for managing all commercial aspects of the business, including business development and customer engagement in the Asia Pacific region across North Asia , South Asia - India, ASEAN and ANZ.
Amit moved into the regional role following a period as Managing Director for IDC New Zealand. His other responsibilities with IDC have included overseeing consulting for Australia & New Zealand, prior to which he managed consulting and sales in New Zealand. In these roles, he was responsible for overall business development and project management of all consulting engagements and advisory services to IDC clients across a range of ICT platforms.
Amit also brings experience in the areas of product development, service development, marketing and strategic management gained as an entrepreneur, having founded and managed his own ICT startup comprising over 200 staff. Through the course of his career he has acquired experience across diverse areas of the ICT markets, such as enterprise business solutions (including ERP solutions), telecommunications and high end IT and Telco training.
Amit holds a Master's degree in Engineering & Management from the University of Auckland, with a strong focus on development of strategic business and marketing methodologies.
Vice President, Strategy, Innovation & Product Management
Joe brings to Current Analysis more than 25 years of strategic marketing, product management and project/program management expertise in developing and implementing new revenue/growth strategies for information and technology businesses. As Vice President, Strategy, Innovation & Product Management, he is responsible for defining and developing new business models and strategies, building a culture of innovative, and executing successful strategies to grow the business.
Joe previously served in senior roles with EMC Consulting’s Business Strategy, Cloud and Big Data Groups and with Arthur D. Little and A.T. Kearney. Joe successfully led six businesses through the growth strategy development and execution process including Bell Atlantic’s (Verizon) Video Services and Internet access (ISP) business, BigYellow, the leading national online yellow pages/local search advertising service, and Powerize.com, a business intelligence start-up acquired by Hoover’s Online.
At Hoover’s, Joe led the conversion to a subscription model, positioning the company for the D&B acquisition. Joe then executed new strategies for two successive companies, Interland, Inc. and Network Solutions where he managed a $300M product portfolio of online, ecommerce, mobility and security services. Both were acquired by web.com.
After graduating from The American University with B.S. degrees in Economics and Political Science, Joe earned a Masters of Communications Technology from The American Institute and a M.A. in Telecommunications from George Washington University. He also holds a current PMP certification.
Executive Vice President, Global Sales
Michael brings nearly 20 years of experience in business development, client services, product development and marketing for high growth companies on a Global scale. As Executive Vice President, Global Sales, he is responsible for leading the company’s Global Sales and Client Services Organizations.
Prior to joining Current Analysis, Michael was CEO of Multimedia Research Group (MRG), a market research and advisory service company focused on the Video and Media Industry. While at MRG he successfully lead the turnaround of the organization focusing on innovation, global expansion and the commercialization of products and services globally. While under Michaels leadership they were able to successfully sell the organization to SNL Financial in 2013.
Before joining MRG, Michael was Executive Vice President, Sales and Client Services at Frontier Strategy Group, a global market research company focused on Emerging Markets. Michael has also served in leadership positions as Vice President at Mintel International, Regional Vice President at WageWorks and Director of Sales at Forrester Research. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Dayton.
Vice President, Custom Research
Bruce leads the custom research practice at Current Analysis, which develops tactical research, sales tools, and competitive analysis programs to assist clients' market development initiatives around the world. His subject matter focus is in enterprise communications and collaboration products and related services.
Prior to joining Current Analysis, Bruce was a vice president at META Group, where he covered European markets in e-mail, web conferencing, and real-time collaboration. While at META he also headed the European consulting practice in enterprise networking strategies. Previously, Bruce was a vice president at Gartner, where he led the worldwide e-business consulting practice.
Based in Washington, D.C., Mr. Page often speaks at industry events and customer workshops. He holds a B.A. in Science, Technology, and Society from Vassar College.
Vice President, North American Sales & Service
Donna brings more than 20 years of global account development and management experience in the technology industry. At Current Analysis, she is responsible for North American sales and service, where she leads the team that provides innovative and competitive solutions to telecom and service provider clients. After joining the company in 1999, she successfully started and developed the European business to one of the largest contributors of revenue to Current Analysis. Also, during her tenure at Current Analysis, she has successfully introduced subscription-based products and services to C-level Executives at both large and small multinationals clients.
Prior to Current Analysis, Donna served as a National Account Manager at Computer Intelligence (formerly part of Ziff Davis Publishing), where she initiated its entrance into the European market. She began her 12 year career with CI as a Sales Support Engineer, before moving into sales to provide competitive sales leads and market analysis to IT technology companies.
Donna started her career at HP as a Systems Engineer in San Diego, CA. She designed, implemented and installed large customer deployments within the Navy, General Dynamics and other DoD contractors.
Donna holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University with a Minor in Marketing.
Vice President, Finance
Paul brings 20 years experience managing accounting and finance operations, mainly for venture backed companies in the technology industry. During his career Paul has raised more than $35.0 million in cash through equity and debt financings. He also has been through an IPO and multiple M&A transactions.
As Vice President of Finance, he is responsible for overseeing all financial and treasury operations of the company. He will also be responsible for IT, facilities and overall infrastructure of the company.
Prior to Current Analysis, Paul served as VP Finance/CFO of Starboard Storage Sytems, where he oversaw accounting and finance, HR and IT. He also spent a year as the Director of Accounting for a local investment banking company. Prior to that he spent six years in senior management at Cyveillance, Inc. (acquired by QinetiQ N.A.), a provider of online risk monitoring and management solutions to protect information, infrastructure and individuals and Previstar, Inc., a software provider for emergency management and disaster response teams. Prior to that Stukus was with Digene Corp. (acquired by Qiagen), a corporation that develops DNA and RNA tests to detect cancers and infectious diseases.
He currently resides in Springfield, VA with his wife and two children. He is a CPA certified in the State of Maryland.
Senior Vice President, Global Sales
As Senior Vice President for Global Sales, Jack is responsible for leading the company's sales efforts around the world. Jack is based in Paris, France. Previously, Jack served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of European operations.
Prior to Current Analysis, Jack served as President, Europe for Harte-Hanks
Market Intelligence since April 1999. He was responsible for all aspects of the business, notably, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, operations, IT, and logistics. Jack began his career in the business intelligence industry with Harte-Hanks Market Intelligence (formerly Computer Intelligence and ZD Market Intelligence, part of Ziff-Davis) in Boston in late 1987 as Account Executive. In 1990, he was promoted to Eastern Area Sales Manager. In January 1993, Jack moved to Paris and assumed new responsibility as Director of Business Development in Europe. In early 1996, he was promoted to Director of European Sales.
Jack started his business career in 1984 in Dayton, Ohio with Digital Controls, a data communication and peripheral-switching provider. He also played four years of international professional basketball before starting his business career.
Jack received a BS degree in Marketing in 1980 from the University of Dayton (Dayton, Ohio).
