Telecom vendor service deals in the mobile managed services space have generated increased industry attention during H1 2011. Ericsson’s seven year managed services deal with Clearwire is a vivid example on why such deals can have a major impact on the mobile ecosystem, since they can provide indicators on the direction of network build-outs and evolving operator imperatives.
