Apple created the consumer tablet market with the original iPad in 2010 and has now moved to the second generation before many of its competitors have made it out the door – but that certainly has not stopped the competition from trying. There were so many tablets announced at CES and Mobile World Congress that it is hard to get an accurate count, but it is almost certainly north of 100, covering four major OS platforms, with more on the way.
